I am ask by Jim Mann at the Las Vegas Art Museum to paint 3 pictures of the Holocaust period of time when Hitler put the world into war and destroyed Europe, killing 6 million people of Jewish origin, Gypsies and everyone in his path of destruction. Hitler with the backing of the German Nazis party terrorized the world at a time when Japan was taking all of Asia in the Far East. Holocaust is however defined as a German word, the genocide of European Jews by the Nazis during world war II, a massive slaughter,(Burnt whole)(holo- whole kaustos-burnt, to burn complete)A sacrificial offering consumed by flames. I am thinking of painting this in black and white. This is a chance to apply prophecy to this awful thing that took place in this century, and to show how it came about, can this happen again? Yes, it has never stopped. Many areas of the world has had non-stop genocide going on for as long as history has been recorded. I feel my place in art is to paint a picture of how the holocaust fits into prophecy. The big picture of the migration of the children of Israel from bondage where they were tried, to today’s world of the Promised Land on this side. I sure love the Jewish people and hope they all find salvation. How ever, there is a reason the holocaust happened, one must understand the difference between the so called Jews and the children of Israel (Jacob Israel) Jacob's name was changed by God to Israel! This is not to be confused with the 'State of Israel' of today. Jacob had 12 sons, one was named Judah, and the Jews are not all Israel or Israelites as they were called in Bible days. Some say that Israel today is 85 percent Edomites, descendants of Esau, Jacob's brother. Judaism is a religion and not a state. I am told that the Jews are divided into 100 different doctrinal beliefs of different faith in their synagogue worship practice of today. Matthew 27-25,"Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children".(The Jews said this about Jesus) Dear Lord, May I pay proper respect to the Jewish people in painting the awful Holocaust whether they all know who they are or not. May I see clearly through their tradition to paint the truth for all times sake as a witness without regard to any personal opinion? I serve people, not just Christian people. All people are very human. Why do people of the world wage (make) war? Why do one people hate another? Why does one person hate another? Why do some Arabs hate Jews, their brothers? Why do some Arabs hate America, because maybe that America helps Israel but we also help Arabia?
